This section of TeelCountry Digital Images highlights water powered Grist Mills of days past. It will provide you with a visual display of how things were 100 years ago. Five mills are featured here and if/when images of more mills are taken they will be added here as well.

Of the five mills that are in this gallery, three are from south west Missouri, one from northern Arkansas and one from Clifftop, West Virginia. Each mill is unique in design and although some mills were not as well kept as others it's a great history lesson in just visiting each one.

I'll let images speak for themselves but I have included links to other sites that will give you some history on the mills featured if you would like to do some reading.

One final note about the images. If you want to see large format versions you will need to purchase a username/password to view them. $5.00 will allow you access to one group of images.
